In 2025, Bambini nel Deserto celebrates an important milestone: 15 years of Child Sponsorship. \nFifteen years of commitment, stories of growth, and children who, thanks to the solidarity of many, have had the opportunity to study, build a future, and break the cycle of poverty. \n \nIt all began in Thies, Senegal, where some children struggled to attend school. Their families, burdened by extreme poverty, often couldn\u2019t afford the quarterly tuition fees. Thanks to the generosity of our first sponsors, we were able to provide financial support for years, allowing these children to complete their education. \n \nThe success in Thies was just the beginning. Over time, our efforts expanded\u2014first to Benin, then to Burkina Faso and Mali\u2014where we supported, and continue to support, children living in orphanages and foster homes. \n \nSeeing some of them not only complete primary and secondary school but even reach university fills us with pride and strengthens our belief that Child Sponsorship\u00a0is a powerful tool for change. \n \nToday, after 15 years, our commitment remains unwavering. \nChild Sponsorship continues to provide opportunities for children who would otherwise struggle to access education, ensuring they also receive meals and medical care when needed. \n \nThanks to those who believe in this project, we can offer many children the chance to build their own future.
