Water is life, and we know this well. For this reason, we have always been active in creating works to collect, distribute, and provide drinking water. The projects realized in this area range from digging wells and boreholes* to training in pump management and rehabilitating existing ones, as even wells need maintenance. The wells and water channeling systems for irrigation use are listed in the Food Autonomy Program. Ensuring water is the first commitment we have made to children, women, and men in the countries where we operate because... water is life!

*Boreholes: This term refers to excavations where a mechanical or electric pump is installed.

Benin: 4 water projects, large-diameter traditional wells.
